I am currently a Solution and Integration Architect for a large Australian consulting company.
I have been designing and building solutions with Microsoft technologies ever since 1993. It all started with Visual Basic 1 (out of interest, its codename was “ThunderForms”), and quickly progressed through all VB versions, including VB.NET, and onto C# (after making the jump back sometime in 2004), and many other Microsoft technologies along the way such as Microsoft SQL Server, BizTalk Server, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, Internet Information Services. Not to say that I’ve only worked on Microsoft technologies; I’ve integrated solutions with Oracle RDBMS, IBM DB2, IBM Cognos, IBM Websphere series, NetSuite, SiteCore, Sharepoint, MS Access, Documentum, ESRI ArcGIS, Antenna, Baseplan, and the list goes on…
I have been a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer since 2007, and also a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft BizTalk Server.
Most recently, I have been heavily involved in BizTalk solutions; not only building them, but also diving into performance optimisations.
This is my blog; my ramblings on anything Architecture, BizTalk, Azure, ASP.NET, WCF, C#, SQL Server, Windows Media Center … and others
